Thank you for choosing Knit-Muse. Because our items are handcrafted in California, shipping and processing times vary depending on whether the item is in stock or made specifically for you.
1. Shipping Destinations
At this time, Knit-Muse ships exclusively within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this moment.
2. Order Processing Times
- Ready-to-Ship Items: These items are already crafted and will be processed and shipped within 2–3 business days.
- Made-to-Order Items: These pieces are handcrafted after your order is placed. Production typically takes 1 to 3 weeks before shipping.
3. Made-to-Order Details
The production timeline for custom pieces depends on several factors:

Design Complexity: Some patterns require more time and detail than others.

Materials: If your requested color requires a specific yarn that we do not have in stock, we will need to order it, which may add to the lead time.

Order Volume: Our production speed depends on the number of open orders currently in our queue.
4. Weekly Status Updates
We know you’re excited to receive your handmade item! For all Made-to-Order purchases, we provide a weekly status update via email. This keeps you informed on which stage your order is in—from sourcing yarn to the final stitches.
5. Shipping Rates & Tracking

Rates: Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to update.
6. Correct Address Policy
All orders are shipped from our studio in California. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Knit-Muse is not responsible for items delivered to an incorrect address provided by the buyer.
